Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) is a 412-bed acute care hospital serving eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties. The center is committed to providing comprehensive health care in Pomona and beyond. Established in 1903, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center has been serving patients for over 100 years. It is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit facility. PVHMC’s services include cancer care, occupational health, cardiac and vascular care, women’s and children’s services, physical therapy/sports medicine, a Neonatal ICU, a Perinatal Center, trauma services, emergency department, robotic surgery, physical therapy, urgent care and radiology. PVHMC has been recognized for Patient Safety Excellence Awar.

PVHMC has four Centers of Excellence – The Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center, Women and Children’s Center, Stead Heart and Vascular Center and Trauma Center.

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is proud to be the largest non-public Trauma Center in Los Angeles County and the largest birthing hospital in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. The medical center is also proud of its STEMI Center for Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties, comprehensive Stroke Center, Regional Disaster Center and the only Chest Pain Center in Los Angeles County.

PVHMC was recognized as “Best Regional Hospital” 2020-2021 according to U.S. News & World Report.
